ImageConverter for iOS
Effective date: September 10, 2026Last updated: September 10, 2026
Dae-geun Choi (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy and complies with applicable data protection laws. This policy applies to the iOS application ImageConverter (the “App”).
We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
Converted files are written only to the location you choose (the Files app, iCloud Drive, your photo library, and so on). We have no access to them.
The App uses the iOS system photo picker (PHPickerViewController). Only the
photos you pick at that moment are handed to the App.
The App neither requests nor holds access to your photo library as a whole.
Permission to add photos is requested only when you choose to save a converted image back to your photo library. This permission is add-only and is never used to read your existing photos. Declining it does not affect file saving or sharing.
When you choose “Save to Files”, the standard iOS save dialog opens and files are written only to the location you select.
Conversion produces result files in your device's temporary directory. They are cleared when you start your next conversion, and are also removed when you delete the App or when iOS reclaims temporary storage. These files never leave your device.
The App may request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework to determine whether personalized advertising may be shown.
Declining this request does not restrict any feature of the App. Everything continues to work exactly the same.
The App displays banner advertising through Google AdMob, provided by Google LLC. In the course of serving ads, Google and its partners may collect and use:
This information is handled under Google's own privacy policy. We do not collect or have access to it.
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties. Information collected by Google for advertising purposes may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence, in accordance with Google's policies.
Because we retain no personal information, no deletion procedure is required on our side. Temporary files are cleared as described in section 3.4. Deleting the App removes all local data it created. Files you saved to your photo library or to the Files app remain, since they live outside the App.
The App is not directed to children under 13 (under the U.S. COPPA) or under 14 (under South Korean law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because we hold no personal information about you, requests concerning advertising data should be directed to Google. For anything else, please contact us using the details below.
All image processing takes place on your device. Your photos are never transmitted over a network, which eliminates that category of risk entirely.
If this policy changes, we will post the revised version and its effective date on this page. Material changes will additionally be communicated through an App update or an in-App notice.
