아이폰 음성메모(ALAC)를 안드로이드에서 재생 가능한 형식으로 변환하는 앱

녹음 파일은 기기 밖으로 나가지 않습니다. 파일을 찾고 변환하고 재생하는 일은 모두 기기 안에서만 이루어집니다. 앱이 인터넷을 쓰는 곳은 화면 맨 아래 배너 광고 한 자리뿐입니다.

1. 수집하는 정보

이 한 가지가 전부입니다. 앱은 광고 식별자를 따로 저장하지 않으며, 이 값의 보관은 Google의 정책을 따릅니다. 계정이 없고 회원가입도 없습니다.

2. 수집하지 않는 것

이 앱은 다음 중 어느 것도 수집·저장·전송하지 않습니다.

이름, 이메일, 전화번호, 주소 등 신원을 알 수 있는 정보
녹음 파일의 내용, 파일명, 저장 위치 — 목록에 보이는 파일 정보는 화면 표시와 변환에만 쓰이며 어디로도 보내지 않습니다
위치 정보, 연락처, 사진, 통화 기록
마이크 입력 — 이 앱은 녹음 기능이 없고 마이크 권한을 요청하지 않습니다
앱 사용 통계, 행동 분석, 오류 보고

Google Analytics, Firebase, 크래시 리포트 도구를 앱에 포함하지 않습니다. 앱에 들어 있는 제3자 구성요소는 아래 5항의 두 가지뿐입니다.

3. 기기에서 하는 일

앱은 기기에 저장된 .m4a 파일을 찾아 목록으로 보여주고, 사용자가 선택한 파일을 AAC 형식으로 변환합니다. 변환은 전적으로 기기 안에서 처리되며 인터넷 연결이 필요 없습니다.

원본은 수정하지 않습니다. 원본 파일은 그대로 두고 같은 폴더에 이름_aac.m4a라는 새 파일을 만듭니다.
변환 시 원본의 제목·녹음 일시 등 메타데이터를 새 파일로 함께 옮깁니다. 이는 기기 안에서만 일어나는 파일 복사입니다.
재생 기능은 선택한 파일을 기기 스피커로 재생할 뿐, 어디에도 기록하지 않습니다.
삭제 기능은 사용자가 고른 파일을 지웁니다. 안드로이드 11 이상에서는 시스템이 확인 창을 띄우며, 사용자가 허용해야 실제로 지워집니다.

4. 사용하는 권한과 이유

`READ_MEDIA_AUDIO` (안드로이드 13 이상)	변환할 `.m4a` 파일을 찾기 위해 기기의 오디오 파일 목록을 읽습니다. 읽은 내용은 화면 표시와 변환에만 쓰이며 저장하거나 전송하지 않습니다.
`READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE` (안드로이드 12 이하)	위와 같은 목적의 구버전 권한입니다.
`WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE` (안드로이드 9 이하)	변환 결과 파일을 원본과 같은 폴더에 저장합니다.
`POST_NOTIFICATIONS`	변환 진행 상황을 알림으로 보여줍니다. 거부해도 변환은 정상 동작합니다.
`FOREGROUND_SERVICE` `FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC` `FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PROCESSING`	긴 녹음을 변환하는 동안 화면을 꺼도 작업이 중단되지 않도록 합니다.
`INTERNET` `ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE` `WAKE_LOCK`	광고를 불러오는 데만 씁니다. 파일 변환·재생·삭제는 인터넷 없이 동작합니다. 뒤의 두 가지는 Google Mobile Ads SDK가 광고 게재를 위해 자동으로 포함하는 권한입니다.

위 권한 중 사용자에게 따로 묻는 것은 오디오 파일 접근과 알림뿐이며, 나머지는 별도로 묻지 않는 일반 권한입니다. 앱은 위치, 카메라, 마이크, 연락처, 전화 권한을 요청하지 않습니다.

5. 제3자 구성요소

그 밖에 이용자의 정보를 제3자에게 제공하거나 판매하지 않습니다. 다만 법령에 따라 수사기관 등이 적법한 절차로 요청하는 경우에는 예외로 합니다.

6. 광고에 관한 선택권

안드로이드 설정 → 개인정보 보호 → 광고에서 광고 ID를 재설정하거나 삭제할 수 있습니다. 삭제하면 맞춤 광고가 중단됩니다. 같은 화면의 맞춤 광고 선택 해제를 켜면 관심사 기반 광고가 표시되지 않습니다. 광고 자체는 계속 표시될 수 있습니다.

광고는 화면 맨 아래 배너 한 자리뿐이며, 작업을 가로막는 전면 광고나 보상형 광고는 사용하지 않습니다. 광고를 받지 못하면 그 자리는 나타나지 않습니다.

7. 파일의 보관과 삭제

앱이 만든 변환 파일은 사용자의 기기에만 존재하며, 원본과 같은 폴더에 저장됩니다. 앱 안에서, 또는 파일 관리 앱에서 언제든 직접 삭제하실 수 있습니다. 앱을 삭제하면 앱 자체의 설정은 함께 지워지지만, 이미 만들어진 변환 파일은 기기에 남습니다.

서비스는 이용자 정보를 담는 데이터베이스를 두지 않으므로, 별도로 삭제를 요청할 계정 데이터가 존재하지 않습니다. 광고 식별자는 위 6항의 방법으로 직접 재설정·삭제하실 수 있습니다.

8. 아동의 개인정보

본 서비스는 만 14세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 아동의 개인정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다.

9. 방침의 변경

이 방침이 변경되면 이 페이지의 내용과 상단 시행일을 갱신합니다. 수집하는 정보가 늘어나는 등 중요한 변경이 있을 경우 앱 업데이트를 통해 안내합니다.

Privacy Policy

M4A Fix — converts iPhone voice memos (ALAC) into a format Android can play

Your recordings never leave your device. Finding, converting, and playing files all happen locally. The only thing the app uses the internet for is the banner ad at the bottom of the screen.

1. What we collect

That is the whole list. The app does not store the advertising ID itself; retention follows Google's policy. There are no accounts and no sign-up.

2. What we do not collect

The app does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

Personally identifiable information such as name, email, phone number, or address
The contents, names, or locations of your recordings — file details shown in the list are used only for display and conversion, and are never sent anywhere
Location, contacts, photos, or call logs
Microphone input — the app cannot record and never requests the microphone permission
Usage analytics, behavioral tracking, or crash reports

The app contains no Google Analytics, Firebase, or crash-reporting tools. The only third-party components are the two listed in section 5.

3. What the app does on your device

The app lists .m4a files stored on your device and converts the ones you select into AAC. All processing happens locally and needs no internet connection.

Originals are never modified. A new file named name_aac.m4a is created in the same folder.
Metadata such as the title and recording date is copied from the original into the new file. This is a local file operation.
Playback plays the selected file through your device speaker. Nothing is recorded.
Deleting removes the files you selected. On Android 11 and above the system shows its own confirmation dialog, and nothing is deleted unless you allow it.

4. Permissions and why they are used

`WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE` (Android 9 and below)	Saves the converted file next to the original.
`POST_NOTIFICATIONS`	Shows conversion progress. Conversion still works if you decline.
`FOREGROUND_SERVICE` `FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC` `FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PROCESSING`	Keeps long conversions running when the screen turns off.
`INTERNET` `ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE` `WAKE_LOCK`	Used only to load ads. Converting, playing, and deleting files all work without a connection. The latter two are added automatically by the Google Mobile Ads SDK.

Of these, only audio file access and notifications are asked of you; the rest are normal permissions granted without a prompt. The app never requests location, camera, microphone, contacts, or phone permissions.

We do not otherwise share or sell your information to third parties, except where legally compelled through due process.

6. Your choices about ads

In Android, go to Settings → Privacy → Ads to reset or delete your advertising ID. Deleting it stops personalized advertising. Turning on Opt out of Ads Personalization on the same screen stops interest-based ads. Ads themselves may still appear.

There is exactly one ad slot — a banner at the very bottom. The app uses no interstitial or rewarded ads that interrupt your work. If no ad is available, the slot does not appear at all.

7. Storage and deletion

Converted files exist only on your device, in the same folder as the original. You can delete them from within the app or with any file manager. Uninstalling the app removes its settings but leaves the converted files in place.

The service keeps no database of user information, so there is no account data to request deletion of. You can reset or delete your advertising ID yourself using the steps in section 6.

8. Children's privacy

This service is not directed at children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date at the top. For significant changes, such as collecting additional information, we will also announce it in an app update.
